SEO: A Sinking Boat For CPA Marketers?

SEO has been a long time money maker or you can say like ” money tree ” for many affiliate marketers and made millions.  BUT! Is everything still same like good old days?

Doesn’t seems like….  

SEO was quite easy in old days but it is getting tougher day by day and with Big “G” releasing new updates every month, It is making it more difficult to rank websites. IN Good ol days.. It was as simple as building a new website > Add contents > Add your affiliate links > Blast your site and VOILA! Your site is on #1 rank for your desired Keyword.

But This trick no longer works!

Google is continously releasing new updates like Panda,Penguin and recently ” Humming Bird “. Hopefully sooner or later we will soon see some more Google’s pet animals like Lion,Deer,Bear,etc LOL!

The real search rankings are changing extensively as Google updated its SEO from panda to the penguin. There are some tricks established in the SEO which make you get an elevation in your ranking than your competitor. If you have your own website on the search engines like Google, Bing and others then the traffic of your website solely depends on them.

But does it affect the CPA marketers?

The advertisers all over the world pay CPA network for each of the specified actions that includes click, form submission or an impression. But recently a few Advertisers have stopped accepting SEO traffic to their offers. WHY ?

By accepting SEO traffic they are loosing their rankings as well as their profits. Wondering how they loosing money ? Lemme explain..

When a advertisers website looses its ranking and an affiliates site gets on top, The advertiser will have to pay the network a XX amount as they agreed to pay on free trial or whatever action. Now you getting the point why advertisers are now hating SEO?

YES! You got it right! Affiliates who are using SEO to rank the sites for the Advertisers brand KW’s are killing the profits of advertisers and thats what they have started hating! They dont want someone else to reap their profit!

Due to recent google update, A lot of affiliates websites got wiped away as usual and a lot of affiliates are not getting enough traffic on their website.  Its getting hard to rank sites like before so affiliates are also quitting SEO and going towards paid media like Facebook ads, 7search,etc..

The changes which are made on the Google SEO is allowing a huge number of small scale websites and ads from many unknown companies to get optimization. The actual goal of the Google algorithm was to provide fresh website and latest ads to the users. But this major move by the Google has definitely hampered the profit of CPA networks hence the advertisers are not accepting SEO traffic to their offers.

What is Google Dance? Funniest Explaination Inside!

Recently I’ve been talking with a SEO expert friend of mine and we were discussing about latest Google updates and Google Zoo and lots of Bla Bla… Suddenly we started talking about Google Dance like Why websites go Up and Down and then get stable either at very top or why do they get penalized or de-indexed,etc… My friend gave my a funny explaination which made me laugh like crazy haha! This was the funniest explaination I’ve heard yet!

Normally: What is Google Dance? 

Tho, A lot of people say there is nothing like google dance and others say it exists. Anyways.. In my case It definitely exists. The google dance is some sort of testing and ranking of your website where your website will fall and rise and again fall and again rise. You can suddenly hit any rank in top 5 or you may even get on 200+ page of google or you may also find your site de-indexed LOL!

Not cool right? It is. According to me Google Dance is actually some kind of Google’s measure to find the appropriate place for your website and rank you at the best place according to your website. I think Google remains confused for a short time and keeps on thinking what would be the best place to rank your website and keeps on placing you at different spots and after a few days you will find your rankings will be stable.

What you saw above was my thoughts regarding Google Dance. What my guy thinks ? I’m pasting my skype conversation.

Things To keep In Mind:

• Simply copy pasting what I did doesn’t assures that this pattern will work for you too.
• What I show above is for helping you understand how you can make money and how you should target your market.
• I suggest you to tweak the ad copy (If you gonna copy paste it) and test your campaigns well.
• Use different images and ad copies and see how they perform. I usually test around 5-10 campaigns and choose 1-2 winner campaigns and rest campaigns are either paused or deleted!

How to get your ads approved on Facebook

Many affiliates having problems promoting their offers on facebook and we hear many times that ads been disapproved. People keep changing the offers and they still can’t get their ads approved.

In this post we are going to talk about the most common reasons why this happen and how to solve it.

I know it’s too frustrating to keep trying with no result and you feel like you are hitting a wall.

I remember that some days I have submitted over 80 ads and all been disapproved, That time I was near to throw my PC from the window and give up Facebook advertising.

So where the problem is:

First thing you need to do is to READ the TOS and facebook advertising guides to know what you are allowed to promote and what’s not. Most of us just skip this point because it’s boring and we want to learn things by testing them.

second problem is, Let me here say it loud ” WE ARE DIRECT LINKING CPA OFFERS“. So what the hell this suppose to mean? We know that we are promoting CPA offers.

If you think about it for 5 min you will find that our CPA offers we are promoting is are geo targeted. Let’s say I am promoting a CPA offer that target people living in USA and the offer is about a free gift card or what ever. Now when the dude sitting in Ireland open our ad so there is some possibilities here:

A- He will not reach any sites ” This page can’t be viewed from your country”

B- He will be redirected to another offer and that could be a gambling website, Adult website or what ever.

Weather is is A or B the important part is that your ad will never get approved and if you keep submitting them over and over again your advertising account will most likely get suspended or worst case closed.

One other problem is that people are so lazy to go and register a domain name and put their affiliate links as they are. Let me tell you that this won’t work.

So how can we solve this problems to be able to get our ads approved. The minimum requirement is to make you offer as much legit as possible and you do that by getting a legit domain name, No matter if it’s a .com .org or .net domain name. Domain names are too cheap this days so make it the first step while you are promoting offers on facebook. Go and order a domain name.

Now to solve the geo redirect issue you have 2 options:

1-  iFrame your CPA offers, Many CPA networks like PeerFly allow you to iFrame their CPA offers.

2- Use a landing page, there is also many other CPA networks like Maxbounty that don’t allow you to iFrame their offers and for that you need to create a landing page. Landing pages don’t need to be so much advanced, it should be fine with a clickable image that will take the visitor to your offer.

How to setup a profitable CPA campaign?

 

Here I am going to tell you how to be different than 99% of the other CPA marketers, and how to start earning with CPA marketing.

First thing that 99% of CPA marketers don’t usually do is Split testing. That’s what makes them fail or make it so hard to earn.

Keep in mind to always split test your campaigns.

- High EPC: Estimate earning per click, You have to check the EPC of the campaign to see how other marketers do with this campaign. You will need to pick campaigns with high EPC, Try not to promote  anything that have less than $0.10 EPC.

- Offer landing page: Always check the campaign landing page to see if its easy to complete the offer or not. Make sure there is no hidden drop down menus.

- Split testing: This is the most important part even if you don’t like it

Depending on your traffic source

You need to take one offer and test it with direct linking and with a landing page. Then you need to create about 10 ad copies to see which one converts best and have higher CTR.

You also need to split test between networks. Use URL rotator or any other service. Take offer X from network Y and Z and see which network have higher conversion rates for that offer.
